The Apothecarium
This is a real apothecary and museum located in Alexandria, Virginia. I gave them a complete rebranding as part of a college project to showcase their place as a repository of medical curiosities.
Operating since the late 1700s as an apothecary, the shop closed down briefly in the 1940s and then reopened as a museum.
Key features included the use of various historical apothecary symbols as visual markers, a muted colour palette, and imagery of common, but unusual ingredients from that era.
