The Make Oasis
This was a branding project developed as part of a brief to create an identity for a Liverpool-based maker space. Traditionally, the demographics of maker spaces have tended to skew towards the young, white, and male, and I decided to appeal to a wider demographic.
The name signifies an oasis of creativity in the middle of the city. A catchy and inviting tone of voice, coupled with bright visuals were the key to creating an inviting atmosphere and bringing in people who don’t necessarily consider themselves ‘makers’.
